IN VIEW OF THE NEW ASSESSMENT OF TROIKA
"Hot" issues in the government agenda
Full of "hot" issues, which require immediate solutions, is the government agenda, before the arrival of the Troika in September. Since today the Prime Minister Antonis Samaras starts meetings with ministers, deputy ministers and secretariy-generals, while the lenders have set specific prerequisites for the re-evaluation of the next month, by which it will be judged the disbursement of the tranche of € 1 billion.
On top of the governments obligations is the list with the public employees who will be suspended. Their number reaches the 12.500 and the list containing them must be ready since the end of September.
Also a huge matter concerns the issue of lifting the ban of auctions for their first home in 2014.
Be noted that the German elections in September bring back the time of the advent of Troika in Athens, but the time is not enough for everything the Greek Government needs to implement. The technical levels of Troika will arrive in the capital during the mid of September, while the heads are expected immediately after the elections in Germany.
